One of the most notable aspects of his career is his trilogy of fights against Manny Pacquiao in 2012, 2014, and 2016.

Earnings and Paydays

Timothy Bradley's largest payday came in April 2014, when he earned $6 million for fighting Manny Pacquiao. His previous high was $5 million from another bout with Pacquiao in June 2012, a fight he won by a controversial decision. "I'm putting that money away, man. I ain't buying nothing. I got everything I need. I'm not buying anything. Me and my wife, we're going to put that money away so I don't ever have to come back to this game. Once I leave it, I ain't never got to come back ever again."

Professional Boxing Career (2004-2011)

Bradley's professional career began with a knockout victory against Francisco Martinez in August 2004. He continued his early streak with wins over Raul Nunez and Luis Medina. Bradley remained undefeated in 2005, clinching victories over Carlos Parra, Ramon Ortiz, Justo Almazan, Marcos Andre Rocha Costa, and Juan Yoani Cervantes. By September, he claimed the vacant WBC youth welterweight title against Francisco Rincon and successfully defended it twice. In 2006, Bradley won the vacant WBC youth light welterweight title by defeating Arturo Urena via TKO, keeping an undefeated streak through 2007.

Bradley's breakthrough came in May 2008 when José Luis Castillo failed to make weight, offering Bradley a title shot. He capitalized on the opportunity, defeating British boxer Junior Witter to win the WBC light welterweight title. Later in 2008, he retained the title in a bout against Edner Cherry. In 2009, Bradley unified the WBC and WBO light welterweight titles by defeating Kendall Holt. He successfully defended his titles against Lamont Peterson. In 2010, Bradley made his welterweight debut, beating Luis Abregu. Soon after, Bradley unified the WBO light welterweight title by defeating Devon Alexander. However, his refusal to fight Amir Khan led to a fallout with his promoter, Gary Shaw. Bradley's final significant bout in this period was a successful defense of his WBO title against Joel Casamayor in 2011.
