Tim Bogert gained fame as a member of the band Vanilla Fudge, which he co-founded in 1966. Their debut album, released in 1967, reached #6 on the US Top 200 chart. Over their career, they produced eight studio albums, with numerous top-charting hits. One of their most popular singles is "You Keep Me Hanging On." Despite various hiatuses throughout the years, Vanilla Fudge remains a significant part of Bogert's musical legacy. Bogert retired from touring with the band in 2011.
In 1970, Bogert formed the band Cactus. Their self-titled debut album was released the same year, followed by four more albums. Cactus was another testament to Bogert’s versatility and talent as a musician.
