Sam Bradford was born Samuel Jacob Bradford on November 8, 1987, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. College Career

Bradford attended the University of Oklahoma on an athletic scholarship, playing under coach Bob Stoops for the Oklahoma Sooners football team. After redshirting during the 2006 season, he earned the starting quarterback role in 2007. He helped the Sooners win the Big 12 Championship and advance to the Fiesta Bowl, where they lost to West Virginia.
