Miley signed with Hollywood Records and released several albums, including her debut "Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus" (2007), "Breakout" (2008), and more recent works like "Endless Summer Vacation" (2023). Her popular singles include "The Climb," "Party in the U.S.A.," "We Can't Stop," and "Wrecking Ball."

Her Malibu home, shared with Hemsworth, was destroyed in the 2018 Woolsey Fire. Miley sold another Malibu property to Matthew Wilder in 2020 for $1.7 million, a loss from her 2016 purchase price of $2.5 million.
In 2015, she bought an equestrian ranch in Hidden Hills for $5 million and sold it in 2018. In 2020, she purchased another Hidden Hills home for $5 million and sold it in 2021 for $7.2 million.
