His "Got Milk?" campaign in 1993 brought him the Grand Prix Clio Award. Bay began his film career directing the successful "Bad Boys" in 1995, which grossed $141.4 million. He continued with hits like "The Rock" (1996) and "Armageddon" (1998), which grossed $335.1 million and $553.7 million, respectively.
In 2001, Bay directed and co-produced "Pearl Harbor," grossing $449.2 million and winning an Academy Award for Best Sound Editing.
