NBA Career
Selected by the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round of the 2002 NBA draft, Barnes was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers and subsequently assigned to the Fayetteville Patriots of the NBA D-League. After a season, he joined the Long Beach Jam in the ABA during their inaugural season in 2003, where he played alongside Dennis Rodman.
