Aftermath
Post-trial, John tried to capitalize on his notoriety by forming a band, The Severed Parts, and acting in adult films like "John Wayne Bobbitt: Uncut" and "Frankenpenis." He faced multiple legal issues, including spousal abuse charges and theft. Notably, he appeared with Val Venis in WWE's Monday Night Raw is War in 1998. Later, he moved to Las Vegas and undertook various jobs, including bartending and driving a limo. His run-ins with the law continued, and he was imprisoned in 2003 for violating probation. In 2014, he suffered severe injuries in a car accident in Buffalo, New York.
In May 2009, John and Lorena made their first public appearance together on "The Insider," where he apologized to her.
