Career

After her debut in 1980, Joan appeared in various films including 'Class' (1983) and 'Sixteen Candles' (1984). In 1985, she joined 'Saturday Night Live' and impersonated celebrities like Jane Fonda and Brooke Shields. Joan earned her first Academy Award nomination for 'Working Girl' (1988). In the '90s, Joan appeared in several films including 'My Blue Heaven' (1990) and 'Grosse Pointe Blank' (1997). She voiced Jessie in 'Toy Story 2' (1999) which grossed $497.4 million.
