Born Jason Matthew Biggs on May 12, 1978, in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, his mother, Angela, was a nurse, and his father, Gary, managed a shipping company. Raised in a Roman Catholic household, Biggs grew up with two sisters, Heather and Chiara. He attended Hasbrouck Heights High School and participated in tennis and wrestling before enrolling at New York University. He later transferred to Montclair State University, dropping out to pursue acting in Los Angeles.
Career
Jason Biggs began his acting journey at age 5 and earned his Screen Actors Guild card by appearing in a Pathmark commercial in 1988. His film debut came with "The Boy Who Cried Bitch" in 1991, followed by a role in the Fox series "Drexell's Class." At 12, he co-starred in the Broadway play "Conversations with My Father" alongside Judd Hirsch. From 1994 to 1995, he played Pete Wendall on "As the World Turns."
Biggs gained international fame starring in "American Pie" (1999) alongside Eugene Levy, Alyson Hannigan, Natasha Lyonne, Shannon Elizabeth, and Mena Suvari.
