At age 5, her mother's nervous breakdown influenced Elena's pursuit of a career in psychotherapy. Her father faced health struggles, including a devastating stroke following surgery for acoustic neuroma, which left him wheelchair-bound. Despite these challenges, Helena's interest in acting blossomed at a young age.
