Notably, Edd holds multiple Guinness World Records, including titles for the 'fastest furniture,' 'fastest office,' 'fastest mobile bed,' 'fastest garden shed,' and 'fastest toilet.'

Career

After the success of the Casual Lofa, Edd's inventive streak landed him his first job in television as a special effects technician for 'Father Ted' in 1994. His career gained momentum, leading him to establish Cummfy Banana Limited in March 1999. The business gained attention, and Edd was soon interviewed for shows like 'Pulling Power' and 'This Morning.'

In 1998, Edd appeared as a guest on 'Top Gear,' where he showcased the Casual Lofa at the Silverstein Live Arena. The same year, he and the Casual Lofa were featured in Jeremy Clarkson's DVD 'The Most Outrageous Jeremy Clarkson Video In The World…Ever!' Edd's diverse talents allowed him to work as a resident designer on the BBC series 'Panic Mechanics' in 1999 and take part in numerous Top Gear segments. However, Edd's most notable work was on 'Wheeler Dealers,' a car restoration show he co-hosted with Mike Brewer. Throughout his career, Edd has undertaken numerous world record attempts, holding titles for the fastest toilet, bed, and the largest motorized shopping trolley. A notable achievement was converting a milk float into a drag racer in a 2012 eBay-sponsored challenge, earning a Guinness World Record for the world's fastest milk float.
