Collegiate Career

In 2009, Carr joined California State University, Fresno, following in his brother's footsteps. He played five games in his freshman season and redshirted in 2010. As the starting quarterback in 2011, he recorded 3,544 passing yards and 26 touchdowns. The following season, he threw for 4,104 yards and 37 touchdowns, earning Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors.
