In 2005, Ansari made short films with director Jason Woliner and comedians Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel, leading to the sketch series "Human Giant," which aired on MTV from 2007 to 2008. Aziz dated pastry chef Courtney McBroom from 2013 to 2016 and started dating Danish physicist Serena Skov Campbell in 2018. Passionate about food, he co-founded "The Food Club" with Jason Woliner and Eric Wareheim, giving plaques to restaurants they love. In January 2018, Ansari was accused of sexual misconduct, which he responded to by asserting the encounter was consensual. He later addressed the issue in his 2019 Netflix special.
