Modeling Career

Ambrósio's modeling career began at age 15 with Dilson Stein. Her first noteworthy job was the cover of Brazilian "Elle" magazine. Though she didn't win the Elite Model Look competition, it opened doors for her, leading to campaigns with Guess for the Millennium GUESS? Campaign. In 2004, Ambrósio became the face of Victoria's Secret's PINK line. That same year, she launched her swimwear line, Alessandra Ambrosio by Sais, which sold 10,000 units in its first month. She later became the face of UK's Next, starring in their TV commercial after a 12-year hiatus.

Ambrósio walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway in 2005 wearing candy-made lingerie. She returned to the runway just three months after giving birth in 2008 and opened the show in 2009. She posed for the "Marie Claire" cover alongside Sacha Baron Cohen and later starred in Colcci's denim ad with Ashton Kutcher. "Forbes" listed her among "The World's Top-Earning Models" in 2011, with an estimated earning of $5 million.
